BIOGRAPHY
R
obert works closely with clients on residential and commercial real estate, business law (purchase and sale of businesses), wills and estates and family law cases, particularly matrimonial property disputes.
Robert has published extensively on regulation and regulatory issues and advises regulated persons on their personal and professional obligations.
As an advocate, Robert represents clients in a range of civil cases, including employment law, contractual disputes, construction litigation, estate law and trusts. Robert is a firm believer in alternative dispute resolution methods, and in cases where a favourable settlement is not forthcoming, he diligently pursues his clients’ interests in court. Many clients appreciate Robert’s ability to cut through to the heart of their legal issue and provide straightforward, practical advice.
In his spare time Robert enjoys writing on legal and policy issues and participating in outdoor activities with family and friends.
