Business Agreements

I

ndividuals entering into partnerships, including general partnerships and corporations, are well-advised to consider entering into an agreement to cement the terms of their business relationship. In corporations, a unanimous shareholder agreement allows individual shareholders to control the management and direction of the company and frequently these agreements also include important clauses on succession, entry/exit and capitalization requirements.

In cases where there are multiple companies or partners in a business venture or investment project it is important to ensure the rights and liabilities of the participants are specified upfront in an agreement that can act as an effective roadmap for a successful business venture.

Robert Mysicka regularly assists clients with the drafting of shareholder agreements and a variety of other business contracts, including partnership, co-tenancy, confidentiality, non-disclosure and other commercial agreements.
