Estate Litigation

R

obert Mysicka has experience advising executors, estate trustees, attorneys acting under powers of attorney and beneficiaries on a range of issues that arise in estate or substitute decision cases. He has represented clients in the Superior Court of Justice on cases where estate accounts are in dispute or the decisions of an executor are being challenged by beneficiaries.

Under the Rules of Civil Procedure, a large number of contested estate cases can be streamlined into applications in order to simplify them and ensure that they are brought to a resolution more expeditiously. Also, in tune with Robert Mysicka’s general philosophy in litigation cases, many estate disputes can be successfully mediated between an executor and a beneficiary and it is Robert’s goal to encourage such mediation or resolution whenever possible.

If your case is going to court or you are contemplating taking legal action in an estate matter it is important to seek the advice of a lawyer as soon as possible. Robert Mysicka is available for a consultation to discuss your case.
